We met the Donut Baron himself. He and his team were very nice. The donuts LOOK good, but were less than desirable. We got a half dozen donuts, all different, so we could give a good tasting. And we were very disappointed. The texture was dense and chewy. They were overly sweet, and lacked actual flavor (just sweet). Even my kids threw them away without finishing them. We were very disappointed.

The donuts are excellent, plenty of options to pick from too. Some of the designs and flavors are pretty creative, I got the Oreo donut once which I really liked. Enjoyed the cinnamon and glazed donuts too, definitely recommend checking out this place! The service was pretty nice too, everybody was so sweet

The Donut Baron is a hidden gem. The donuts are all handmade the morning of and are delicious! They are big in size and flavor. The workers and owner are extremely friendly! In fact, my family and I were given a s’mores donut to share as a gift for stopping by to try. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Near downtown Melbourne on US1. You won’t be disappointed. He’s there until they sell out. They have a nice shaded area with tables to sit and enjoy as well

Stopped in at The Donut Baron for the first time and was blown away. The staff was so friendly, and the donuts are all hand-rolled and fried right there — you can taste how fresh they are. I tried the maple bacon, the s’mores, and a glazed donut. The glazed was my absolute favorite — perfect amount of glaze, super soft, thick, and fluffy. I’d come back just for those. These donuts have real substance but are still soft and fresh. Way better than Dunkin or grocery store donuts. Such a great small business to support — I’ll definitely be back!

This is my third visit to Th Donut Baron. Today I enjoyed a raised jelly-filled dusted with powdered sugar. The raspberry jelly tasted like your grandmother's recipe. Perfecrly sweetened (not with artificial corn syrup) , and you can taste the raspberries! In every bite you get a lot of jelly, in fact so much that it oozed out of the side of the donut. The Baron himself is Ronnie, an effable character with a big kind heart who puts a lot of love in to his craft. He goes out of his way to make sure you leave satisfied and he shows up in the middle of the night to begin frying. Among my favorites are the pumpkin spice with cinnamon and sugar, the pecan twist, and the raised chocolate. This is the real deal, made fresh daily. Sure to put a smile in your belly.
